ALBA Chef’s Kitchen is a stunning new space featuring an array of different classes and guest chefs.
Our cooking school covers a range of cuisines and skills with our in-house celebrity, Peter Kuruvita, plus special guest chefs, promoting our beautiful region and its people. Choose from a variety of Hands-On or Demonstration Classes using our EVENT CALENDAR below to see what’s on and book your class.
Private customised classes are available for corporate groups or special occasions.

In Hands-On classes, Students have the opportunity to work directly with the Chef and fellow students – being guided, coached & encouraged by the Chef, while they prepare and cook the menu themselves. Students will enjoy a full sit-down service including the menu they have created and two glasses of wine. Classes run for 4 hours.
Demonstration classes are held in a theatre-style. The Teacher will present and demonstrate how to prepare, cook or use certain dishes, elements or skills. Students will enjoy the food that is presented and cooked in the demonstration in a relaxed shared-style setting with a glass of wine. Classes run for 3 hours.
Discussion classes give students the opportunity to meet with the Producer and explore and learn about their products and skills on a deeper level. Learn history, fun facts, varieties, methods, ways of doing, pairing, etc with an open Q&A session. The most exciting part – it includes tasting & samples – with the opportunity to buy direct from the producer at discounted rates. Students will also enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. Classes run for 2 hours.

If cancellation is made up to 48 hours before class, a credit in the form of a gift voucher can be given.
If cancellation is made within 48 hours of class, no credit or refund will be given.
In an unlikely or unforeseen circumstance, ALBA by Kuruvita reserves the right to postpone or cancel classes. ALBA by Kuruvita will endeavour to provide sufficient warning and rebook the class for a different date. Existing tickets would be transferred to another class on a case-by-case basis.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased per class or monetary value on our website and used as such. No refund on Gift Vouchers. A minimum number of people is required per class for it to run. In the case of minimum numbers not being met, we will transfer existing tickets to another class on a case-by-case basis.
